Darkness VS Light | Coeur d’Alene ID
Darkness VS Light | Coeur d'Alene ID
Obviously, there is a difference between light and dark. When exposed to these environments, even the physiology in our eyes alter and adapt. However, the concept of the presence of “light” versus the presence of “darkness” is key when observing health at Hometown Family Chiropractic.
Darkness is simply the absence of light. If we were in a dark room and wanted to make it brighter, you would not take away the darkness, you would seek to add more light. When we are measuring a room’s brightness, we measure it in lumens. We have no way of measuring darkness, only the reduction in lumens will cause more darkness until the lumen are gone. Darkness is not a thing; thus, this would mean that the entity (the thing that exists) is light. Simply put, you would add more LIGHT to overcome the darkness.
Health Is About Adding Light, Not Fighting Darkness in Coeur d'Alene ID
The same goes for the health of the body. Disease (Dis-EASE) is the absence of health. Take pain for example. Just like darkness, you can not measure pain! It’s impossible to bottle it up and measure it. All we know is that there is less than optimal health resulting in whatever pathology you want to toss out there.
HEALTH IS THE ENTITY. When we begin to focus on better health by way of a healthy, coordinated nerve system (the FOUNDATION of all actions within the body), the dis-ease (darkness) begins to retreat. Better nerve supply, nutrition, stress management, auto-suggestions, fewer toxins, etc., all help a person possess more health and more light. Western medicine focuses on darkness and tries to take it away. Chiropractic has been pounding the drum for over a century that it is not the darkness that is winning, it is the loss of light.
When we talk about our mission-- allowing our community to SHINE BRIGHT FOR GENERATIONS-- we are passionately imploring you to add more light. By keeping the Central Nerve System healthy, we can be sure to shine bright. Every mother, father, child, grandparent deserves abundant light. Allow us to check your CNS often and regularly to make sure you express light optimally!
