Flare Ups – They Happen in Coeur D'Alene ID
Flare ups happen. Just how life will often toss a curve ball, the same happens within our health journey at HomeTown Family Chiropractic in Coeur d'Alene ID. The reality is no one can be 100% healthy all the time. The body is constantly trying to adapt to the stressors and demands of life, and when the threshold is met, we feel less than optimal.
Through corrective spinal care--in most cases--the foundation has been laid for health to occur with more ease. When people transition to more supportive or maintenance care, we are no longer attacking the symptoms but helping you regulate your nerve system to improve the chances of you adapting to life’s curve balls. When flare ups occur, the demands of life become too much, and the nerve system becomes overwhelmed. When this happens, the body expresses symptoms or feels run down. Flare ups are a good reminder to slow down, find that parasympathetic (rest and digest) tone again, and the body will recover. What we have found in our office with other practice members is when someone has a flare up of a condition in the wellness/maintenance portion of care, they often recover more quickly than someone in active corrective care. The reason for this response is due to the fact that their body is far healthier, making recovery quicker and simpler.
A flare up is just a reminder that everyday our intelligent body is working to protect us. We tend to put this vehicle through physical traumas and stressors (both chemically and emotionally). Let this be your reminder that when the flair up does occur to get your spine and central nervous system checked immediately to assist the body in healing. Life is much easier and expressed easier when the body can handle the demands in our days. It is more enjoyable to have less pain, systems of the body work better, and gain improved movement. Let us be on your wellness team allowing you to express and experience life abundantly.
